Poppy and her family would like to give you a bit of advice. Dogs Are For Life Not Just For Christmas.
If you know anyone who is thinking of buying a puppy for Christmas. Please please ask them first of all, to read the information on Puppy Love Campaign.
Christmas is coming, don't be one of next years statistics who's pup died before New Year. Do not fall into the trap of buying a farmed puppy. There are thousands of homeless dogs and puppies in rescues across the land, please look to these dogs first and make Christmas a true time of giving. If you must buy a pup seek out an ethical breeder who does all health test on your chosen breed, see all relevant paperwork before you buy and make sure the pups are raised in a house with love, not outdoors in kennels.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year
Love from Poppy XX
Well Poppy....
ReplyDeleteYa look like a winsome maiden....at least from the little picture on yer sidebar. So yer a newly adopted little girl livin' on a narrow-boat fer most of the year...and on land fer the winter. Stayin' on land fer the winter sounds like an excellent idea as the water would be absolutely frigid this time of year.
Well, I also know another wire called Poppy who lives in Hermitage Pa and she has had 2 litters of puppies.....most of 'em are show dogs....we, of course are not.....
We wish ya a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Stay warm and safe....we heard about all the riots there....maybe everythin' is OK now...we hope so.
I will try ta check back again ta see what yer up ta....yer boat looks super nice.....ya don't get sea sick at all? Be good ta the cat....he wouldn't last long around here but when ya grow up with 'em they seem ta be OK companions....but don't share yer bed with 'em....yuck....
